When it comes to customers, Mediafly hit the jackpot. The businesses and individuals we have the pleasure of partnering with are strategic forward-thinkers and innovators. Never comfortable with the status quo, their sales enablement journeys are never complete. They’re constantly evolving. And they’re constantly challenging us to think outside the box and build and deploy features and products that will make them leaders in their industries.
This is what made selecting our 2020 Customer Awards recipients so difficult. We truly feel we work with the ‘best of the best’, and each customer brings such a unique perspective and strategy to enabling their commercial teams for success. But alas, we identified seven individuals from six companies we believe have gone above and beyond in 2020 to empower their sellers and marketers with the next-generation capabilities and strategies required to thrive in today’s uncertain business environment.
So without further ado, here are Mediafly’s 2020 Customer Awards recipients:
The ‘Value First’ Award
Michael Ketchmere, Head of Business Value Consulting, Xactly Corp
If you want to close deals in 2020, it’s imperative that you help your customers financially justify the purchase of your product of your service. The most effective way to do this is to leverage an ROI or TCO calculator to help you clearly quantify and communicate the value your offering will bring to prospective customers in the context of what they care about most. Michael not only understood this but had extensive knowledge of the Value use case Xactly needed. Because of this, he was “hands on” during the construction of Xactly’s best-in-class ROI tool, assisting with ROI calculations from start to finish.
The ‘Sales Enablement Excellence’ Award
Maggie Farnik, North American Sales Trainer, Guerbet
In her role as Sales Trainer at Guebert, Maggie is a first-hand witness to the needs, challenges, and successes of her sales team. Her exceptional vision allowed her to marry that insight with the strategic needs of the organization and shape Guebert’s implementation of Mediafly from the field up, rather than the top down. As a result, Guebert’s ever-evolving sales application is enjoying material success and significant adoption.
The ‘Most Adaptable’ Award
Derek Biedermann, Brand Manager, Dendreon
When COVID-19 struck, Dendreon was one of the first Mediafly customers to truly mobilize their sales force for remote selling. Derek recognized that this was a “moment of truth” for field sales and that sales enablement technology was the key to success. With his sights firmly fixed on success for Dendreon’s reps, he used their Mediafly-powered sales application to pivot to a new digital selling strategy and reinforce the importance of leveraging Dendreon’s content to maintain his team’s connection with customers.
The ‘Top Performer’ Award
Andrea Edwards, Associate Director, Colgate Palmolive
Andrea fiercely champions Mediafly at Colgate to ensure field users across the globe have access to a seamless remote selling solution. She developed a highly effective and agile rollout strategy to scale from one Mediafly environment with around 400 users to six environments with 1300+ users in less than a year – and she has no plans to slow down! Andrea pushes Mediafly to innovate and coaches her users to creatively leverage our sales enablement technology. Thanks to her, Colgate users have quickly embraced their Mediafly-powered sales application to engage with customers in a highly effective, insights-driven way.
The ‘Top Influencer’ Award
Tom Stubbs, Sales Capability Communications Manager, Pepsico
As a longtime Mediafly customer and ally, Pepsico has influenced not only the beverage industry but also Mediafly’s sales enablement strategy and capabilities designed for CPG powerhouses. Tom has been our champion since the very beginning and has enabled Mediafly’s growth alongside Pepsico’s over the years.
The ‘Innovation’ Award
Lisa Feiler, Sales Enablement/Marketing Analyst, Givaudan
Eric Spenske, VP of Marketing, Givaudan
Lisa and Eric co-developed Givaudan’s exceptional sales enablement program with Mediafly in 2016 and remain at the forefront of innovation today. Their commitment to pushing the envelope, willingness to adopt new features and products, and thoughtful contributions to our product roadmap have been instrumental in our mutual success.
